Job summary

Walgreens in Bastrop, Texas is seeking a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and patient care under pharmacist supervision.

You will assist with prescription processing, patient registration, and contribute to vaccination and health services while helping to train and lead pharmacy technicians to maintain high standards of service and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Manage pharmacy workflow, scheduling, and inventory to support operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
