Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited program.
• Current pharmacist license in the district or willing to obtain within 1 year.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience including filling, verification, records and legal compliance, and insurance.
• Specialized training or practical experience in medication/disease state (e.g., HIV, Organ Transplant, Oncology).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the pharmacy department.
• Improve prescription numbers, sales, profit, and image while ensuring courteous service.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies; maintain records and reports.
• Manage inventory and third party programs to minimize rejections and optimize reimbursement.
• Lead staff training and ensure licensure for all pharmacy personnel.
