Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited program.
• Current pharmacist license in the states within the district.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience including prescription filling, verification, records and legal compliance, and insurance.
• Specialized medication/disease-state training or relevant experience for clinic-based services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the pharmacy department and manage workflow.
• Improve prescription numbers, pharmacy sales, and patient satisfaction through accurate filling and courteous service.
• Report prescription errors per company policies and Quality Improvement Program.
• Comply with federal/state laws and company procedures; maintain required records.
• Protect assets and minimize profit loss; manage cash handling and banking tasks.
• Maintain pharmacy department systems, equipment, and housekeeping to ensure safety and compliance.
• Identify and implement third-party pharmacy opportunities; resolve claim rejections promptly.
