Qualifications

• Has one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Preferred: Previous people management/ leadership experience.
• Preferred: Previous Walgreens experience with strong performance in last evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
• Assist pharmacist in delivering patient care, including prescription data entry and medication preparation, under supervision.
• Engage customers and patients to provide services and respond to questions to enhance the customer experience.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians and other staff.
• Handle insurance claims processing and coordinate with providers to minimize payments issues.
