Job summary

Walgreens in Atlanta, GA is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and patient care under the supervision of a pharmacist. You will help with prescription data entry, medication preparation, and vaccine or health-service offerings as allowed by law.

In this role you will lead training and scheduling for technicians, drive performance management, ensure compliance, and manage inventory and records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• PTCB certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing and patient care under supervision.
• Support non-clinical pharmacy tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
• Lead training, scheduling, and performance management of technicians.
• Engage customers and resolve complaints to ensure a positive experience.
• Support inventory management and regulatory recordkeeping.
