Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and adhere to dress standards.
• Learn the trade area, customers and competition.
• Foster a positive pharmacy department image through service and teamwork with customers, associates and vendors.
• Monitor inventory, scheduling, policies, records, security and equipment.
• Maintain records for controlled substances and security of scheduled drugs.
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from approved sources.
• Utilize accuracy tools effectively (e.g., scanners, audits).
• Maintain compliance and reporting per Kroger policies and regulations.
• Keep a clean, neat work area and professional image for customers.
• Process product returns per policy.
• Maintain and service pharmacy equipment.
• Organize policy manuals and reference materials; ensure staff familiarity with use.
• Maintain proper signage in all areas as required.
• Pursue ongoing knowledge to expand pharmacy skills.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
