The Kroger Co. in Elizabethtown, KY is hiring a pharmacist to fulfill prescription needs and provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care. You will ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws, including HIPAA, and maintain professional appearance and operations of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities include stock management, record keeping, inventory control, and ensuring accuracy tools are used properly while maintaining all required records and safety standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• 1 year of retail experience.
• Second language proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs while concentrating on accuracy of every prescription filled.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with all local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain a professional image through personal appearance, conduct and attitude.
• Achieve thorough knowledge of the trade area, its customers and its competition.
• Create a positive pharmacy department image through service, friendliness and cooperativeness with customers, associates and vendors.
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels, policies/procedures, record keeping, security and budgeting.
• Maintain proper records and security on all scheduled drugs (controlled substances).
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from authorized sources.
• Ensure accuracy tools are utilized appropriately.
• Maintain and organize policy manuals and state laws, ensuring staff knowledge.
