Walgreens Co. in El Paso, TX is hiring a Pharmacy Technician who will assist the pharmacist under direct supervision, process prescriptions, and support pharmacy operations, while guiding technicians and cashiers per store policy.

You'll deliver a distinctive customer experience, greet customers, resolve questions, maintain accurate patient and drug information in the pharmacy systems, and help ensure safe, compliant dispensing.

Formación

• PTCB certification (except Puerto Rico)
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire

Responsabilidades

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy
• Operate pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and assist with billing
• Coach pharmacy technicians and cashiers in processes and tools
• Maintain accurate patient and drug information, check for interactions and dispensing accuracy
• Support inventory management and unit-dispensing duties
• Engage customers with a friendly, helpful attitude and deliver a distinctive customer experience
