Job summary

Walgreens in Hayward, Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to support non-clinical and clinical pharmacy operations. Under pharmacist supervision, you will enter prescriptions, prepare medications, and assist with vaccines and health services as allowed by law.

You will lead training and supervision of technicians, manage workflow, and ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and safety standards. Strong English communication and a flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification.
• 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care, prescription data entry, and medication preparation under supervision.
• Count, verify, and package medications as allowed by law.
• Administer vaccines and health screenings where permitted.
• Delegate non-clinical tasks and manage pharmacy workflow to ensure timely service.
• Keep records, inventory, and reports in compliance with policies and regulations.
