Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time pharmacy technician in Alabama to support non-clinical operations and patient services. Under pharmacist supervision, you will handle prescription data entry, medication preparation, and patient registration, while contributing to vaccines and health screenings where allowed by law.

We value English fluency, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of pharmacy tech experience.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including data entry and medication prep.
• Manage non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure compliance.
• Lead training and performance of pharmacy technicians.
• Maintain inventory and ensure secure recordkeeping.
