Job summary

Walgreens in Durant, OK is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support daily non-clinical operations and patient experiences. Under pharmacist supervision, you will enter prescriptions, assist with vaccines and health services, and help manage inventory and records.

You will lead training and performance management for technicians, participate in performance reviews, and ensure compliance with company policies and laws while maintaining high accuracy and customer service

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required or in Puerto Rico exemption applies.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations.
• Enter prescription data and ensure accurate patient and drug information.
• Support vaccine administration and health screenings where allowed by law.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
