The role includes immunizations, drug therapy reviews, immunization certification maintenance, inventory optimization, staff coaching, and close collaboration with the Store Manager to expand health and wellness services while maintaining regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Licensed pharmacist with state licensure in district.
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy operations experience.
- Experience with prescription dispensing and insurance billing.
- Immunizer certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Demonstrated leadership and performance management experience.
Responsibilities
- Engage patients to ensure a positive experience and answer questions about medications and services.
- Counsel on medication use, interactions, and OTC alternatives; refer to provider as needed.
- Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
- Manage pharmacy workflow, staff scheduling, and adherence to regulations.
- Lead staff training and performance reviews; support store-wide health initiatives.
