Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is hiring a Pharmacy Manager to ensure safe, compliant pharmacy services and provide clinical and quality oversight. The role includes PIC responsibilities, coordination with nursing and reimbursement teams, budgeting, and ensuring sterile compounding standards.

The ideal candidate leads a team, maintains workflow, and supports regulatory and formulary guidelines while driving patient care quality and safety within a home infusion setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with active Pharmacist license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must meet State Board of Pharmacy requirements to serve as Pharmacist-in-charge (PIC).
• Three years of experience as a pharmacist in a sterile compounding infusion pharmacy setting or equivalent.
• Two years of leadership experience or equivalent responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Determines patient suitability for home or alternate-site care and oversees daily operations.
• Monitors quality and patient-safety performance and responds to adverse trends.
• Ensures sterile compounding standards and supervises staff competency.
• Oversees budgeting, purchasing, and inventory of medications and supplies.
• Leads pharmacy quality-management and patient-safety programs and documents lessons learned.
• Coordinates pharmacy on-call responsibilities and leadership coverage.
