Job summary

Druid City Infusion, part of the Vital Care Infusion Services network, seeks a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee home infusion and specialty pharmacy operations. You will lead clinical teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with prescribers, nurses, payers, and patients to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Responsibilities include medication reviews, patient consultations, therapy plan development, education, and ensuring safety across sterile and non‑sterile

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with board certification and clean record.
• Demonstrated leadership and staff supervision skills.
• Experience with home infusion therapies and specialty meds.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medication reviews and patient consultations.
• Assess patient condition to determine home infusion suitability.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop therapy plans.
• Educate patients on medication administration and safety.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment in partnership with care team.
• Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosing, and interactions.
• Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding and drug information.
• Lead pharmacy operations to ensure safety and compliance.
• Coordinate with nurses, prescribers, payers and patients.
• Maintain licenses, registrations, and accreditation readiness.
• Manage inventory and supplier relationships.
