Job summary

The Pharmacy Manager will oversee workflow, inventory, and staff performance, while driving continuous improvement in patient outcomes and service quality across Walgreens stores.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to ensure a positive experience and address questions.
• Counsel on medicine usage, interactions, and generics; refer to medical provider as needed.
• Dispense medications and review for accuracy per regulations and company policies.
• Oversee pharmacy workflow, scheduling, and staff performance.
• Lead training and performance reviews for pharmacy staff.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or PharmD

Current pharmacist licensure in district states
