Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist Manager to provide empathetic pharmacy consulting, immunization services, and clinical care including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcome services.

You will ensure accurate dispensing, review medications, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations while leading a pharmacy team to improve patient experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree approved by a relevant board.
• Current pharmacist licensure in states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of Pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.
• Experience with prescription dispensing and knowledge of state and federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients to provide empathetic pharmacy services and ensure positive patient experience.
• Counsel on medication usage, interactions, and safety; refer to medical provider as needed.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and efficient workflow; manage staff scheduling and operations.
• Oversee training, performance reviews, and development of pharmacy staff.
