Job summary

Harris Teeter in Williamsburg, Virginia seeks a full-time Pharmacist to manage store pharmacy operations and deliver world-class patient care. You will supervise staff, perform essential dispensing tasks, and ensure compliance with law and company policy.

The role includes immunizations, cost control, and maintaining safety and quality standards, while providing excellent customer service and support to store leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing within the region
• Immunization-certified through APhA and CPR-certified
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of the pharmacy manager, including support for promotions and operations
• Provide immunizations following standing orders and procedures
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine formulas/ingredients
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring accuracy of prescriptions
• Maintain compliance with state/federal laws, HIPAA, and company policies
• Maximize gross profit and minimize operating expenses
• Train associates and manage scheduling and conflicts
• Ensure safety, quality assurance, and inventory control
