Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead a high‑performing pharmacy team across dispensing, operations and patient care in a dynamic retail setting. You will ensure compliant medication dispensing, optimize workflow, manage inventory, and drive patient outcomes and service excellence.

You must hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, state licensure, and immunizer certification (or willingness to obtain). At least 1 year of pharmacy experience and leadership exposure are expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree required.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the district states.
• Certified Immunizer or willing within 90 days.
• 1 year pharmacy experience including dispensing and compliance.
• Experience with prescription dispensing and controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Engages patients and resolves issues to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Counsels patients on medicine usage, interactions, and privacy considerations.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and med management.
• Ensures pharmacy operates in compliance with regulations and policies; oversees staffing and workflow.
• Maintains IT knowledge of pharmacy systems and supports staff and patients.
• Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications; processes insurance accurately.
• Coordinates with providers and performs immunizations and wellness services.
