Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited educational institution.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.
Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate knowledge of state and federal controlled substance laws.
Leadership ratings on performance reviews and no recent disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage of medicine, interactions, and privacy.
Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
Reviews, interprets, and accurately dispenses prescribed medications.
Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations and company policies; oversees staffing and workflows.
Collaborates with Store Manager to identify new business opportunities and improve pharmacy performance.
Maintains IT knowledge of pharmacy systems and supports staff and patients with technology.
