Walgreens is seeking a licensed pharmacist to deliver comprehensive patient care, immunizations, and clinical services across our pharmacy operations. You will counsel on medications, manage drug therapy reviews, and ensure regulatory compliance while leading a team to provide an exemplary patient experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, continuous training, and collaboration with medical providers to support community health goals.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.
• Experience with prescription dispensing and knowledge of state/federal controlled substances laws.
• Leadership behaviors rating and clean disciplinary history if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Engage patients to ensure a positive experience and provide product/service assistance.
• Counsel on medication use, interactions, and safety; refer to medical providers as needed.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, and medication management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and efficient pharmacy workflow; manage scheduling and staff coordination.
• Support staff development through training and performance reviews.
• Communicate pharmacy services and strategy to staff and patients.
• Analyze pharmacy performance data and manage asset protection and inventory.
