Job summary

Quality Health Pharmacy in Worcester, MA, a division of Devereux, seeks an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee local operations, ensure accurate dispensing, manage inventory, and partner with leadership to serve individuals.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctor of Pharmacy, Massachusetts pharmacist license, and 4+ years in hospital, long‑term care, or retail pharmacy with at least 2 years of administrative experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by State Board of Pharmacy in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of four years of experience in a hospital, long‑term care or retail pharmacy with two years administrative experience.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office products.
• Strong customer service and team player abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and car is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate staff in‑services, training, competency assessments, orientation, evaluations and performance reviews.
• Work closely with leadership to implement distribution methods that serve the Individuals’ needs and tend to pharmacy operations.
• Maintain competency by attending at least 30 DEU hours of continuing education every two years.
• Assist in setting up contracts, Medicaid applications and renewals.
• Prepare and disseminate information requested by government agencies and external auditors.
