Job summary

Quality Health Pharmacy in Worcester, MA is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead local operations, ensure accurate dispensing, manage inventory, and collaborate with leadership to serve individuals in need.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy (Massachusetts license), at least four years in hospital, long-term care, or retail, with two years of administrative experience, and strong customer service and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by State Board of Pharmacy in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a hospital, long-term care or retail pharmacy with two (2) years administrative experience preferred.
• Broad knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, including compounding and dispensing, and relevant laws.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Valid driver’s license and car required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate staff in-services, training, competency assessments, orientation, evaluations and performance reviews.
• Work with leadership to implement distribution methods serving Individuals’ needs and pharmacy operations.
• Maintain competency with continuing education.
• Assist in setting up contracts, Medicaid applications and renewals.
• Prepare and disseminate information requested by government agencies and external auditors.
