Qualifikationen

• Doctor of Pharmacy (or foreign equivalent) and Indiana Pharmacy License or ability to obtain one.
• OR Bachelor’s Degree of Pharmacy (or foreign equivalent) and Indiana Pharmacy License or ability to obtain one.

Aufgaben

• Dispense drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and provide information to patients about medications and their use.
• Compound and dispense medications issued by authorized medical practitioners; address clinical effects of drugs, counseling, and assist patients in managing medical conditions.
• Communicate with customers and patients regarding confidential health and drug information; maintain and manage daily/weekly reports to drive business and healthcare needs.
• Oversee operation of the pharmacy including patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.
• Adopt and manage patient care programs; lead with heart, motivate and develop staff; identify opportunities to drive growth and improve performance in the pharmacy.
• Collaborate with others and deliver better outcomes; adapt to change and thrive in dynamic community healthcare settings.
