The Pharmacy Manager collaborates with providers and supports medication safety, staff development, and service excellence within a faith-based FQHC environment.

Qualifikationen

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school.
• Active and unrestricted Tennessee pharmacist license.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least three years of experience working in a community or retail pharmacy.
• Experience supervising pharmacy technicians, cashiers, or other pharmacy personnel.
• Strong knowledge of medication dispensing, patient counseling, inventory management, and pharmacy regulations.
• Experience maintaining confidential patient records and using pharmacy information systems.
• Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide professional pharmacy services while supervising daily operations.
• Dispense prescriptions accurately and safely in accordance with laws and standards.
• Delegate prescription-filling and administrative tasks to staff and verify work completion.
• Coach and evaluate Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Cashiers.
• Counsel patients regarding medications, dosages, side effects, and interactions.
• Maintain confidential patient medication records and review therapies for safety.
• Collaborate with medical providers to clarify prescriptions and prevent errors.
• Oversee pharmacy cash-handling procedures and payroll records.
• Ensure compliance with federal and Tennessee laws and CCHS policies.
• Promote efficient workflows and strong customer service in a safe environment.
• Participate in meetings, quality-improvement activities, and assigned duties.
