Job summary

Christ Community Health Services in Jackson, TN seeks an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations of the Pharmacy Department. The role oversees staff, dispensing, regulatory compliance, inventory, and patient service, reporting to the Pharmacy Director.

The ideal candidate has a PharmD, TN license, 3+ years in community/retail pharmacy, and strong leadership skills to build a compliant, patient-centered team in a faith-based FQHC setting.

Qualifications

• PharmD from an accredited school.
• Active and unrestricted Tennessee pharmacist license.
• Current BLS certification.
• 3+ years in community or retail pharmacy.
• Experience supervising pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
• Strong knowledge of dispensing, counseling, inventory & regulations.
• Experience maintaining confidential patient records and using pharmacy software.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional pharmacy services while supervising daily operations.
• Dispense prescriptions accurately per laws and standards.
• Delegate tasks to staff and verify completion of work.
• Supervise and coach Pharmacy Technicians and Cashiers.
• Counsel patients on medications, doses, and interactions.
• Maintain confidential patient medication records and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with providers to clarify prescriptions and prevent errors.
• Oversee cash handling and maintain payroll records for staff.
• Monitor inventory and place orders as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal/Tennessee laws and CCHS policies.
