Job summary

GRX Holdings, LLC is seeking a Full Time Pharmacy Manager for the Medicap Pharmacy in Pleasant Hill, IA. The role oversees all pharmacy operations, patient services, and staff supervision to ensure quality care and compliance.

Responsibilities include counseling patients, supervising technicians, maintaining licenses, and coordinating with senior management. Hours are 8:00am–6:00pm Mon–Fri and 9:00am–2:00pm Sat; no evenings or Sundays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA) or Pharm.D degree from an accredited pharmacy college.
• Four to ten years related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret written prescriptions, check for drug interactions and allergies, enter prescription and patient data into the computer system.
• Supervise technicians as prescriptions are filled and check all work for accuracy.
• Ensure accurate billing in compliance with insurance plans, CMS, and board of pharmacy.
• Counsel patients over the phone and in person.
• Convey how and for how long medications should be taken, and answer questions.
• Consult with other health care professionals to ensure services meet standards and laws.
• Perform duties of Staff Pharmacist and Technicians as needed.
• Maintain regular communication with Regional Director and oversee daily store operations.

Education
