Job summary

GRX Holdings, LLC is seeking a full-time Pharmacist for Medicap Pharmacy in Eldora, IA. Under indirect supervision, you will fill prescriptions, counsel patients, supervise Pharmacy Technicians, and ensure services meet professional standards and laws.

Responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, reviewing for interactions, counseling patients, managing inventory, processing third-party billing, and maintaining license and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree (Bachelor’s or PharmD) from accredited college.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy license in the state.
• 1–2 years related experience; or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret prescriptions, check for drug interactions and allergies, and supervise Technicians.
• Counsel patients in person and over the phone; explain usage and safety.
• Review inventory and place medication orders; maintain supplies.
• Ensure proper billing and compliance with insurance plans, CMS, and boards.
• Maintain current state pharmacy license and knowledge of systems.
• Maintain professional relationships with patients and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
