Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure accurate dispensing, and maintain regulatory compliance while delivering compassionate patient care.

The role emphasizes immunizations, drug therapy reviews, and clinical services that improve patient outcomes. You will lead pharmacy staff, optimize inventory and workflow, and collaborate with store leadership to promote health and wellness in the community.

Competenze

• Candidates must have a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.

Mansioni

• Counsel patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and safety.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Review, interpret, and dispense prescribed medications per regulations.
• Ensure the pharmacy operates in compliance with regulations and company policies, manage scheduling and staff roles.
• Ensure Good Faith Dispensing policy compliance with state and federal laws.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to define and develop new business opportunities.
• Maintain pharmacy IT knowledge and support staff in workflow, billing, and documentation.
• Process insurance claims and handle third-party audits; resolve issues with providers.
