Job summary

University Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Liaison to collaborate with Pharmacy staff and other healthcare providers to promote the system's pharmacy programs and services, delivering an optimal patient experience.

You will assist pharmacists and perform duties in pharmacy operations under supervision, contributing to efficient, timely performance within the Pharmacy Department, and supporting confidential medical environments. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician licensure from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Two or more years inside or outside sales experience is preferred.
• Two or more years of experience as a registered pharmacy technician (RPhT) is required.

Under the supervision of the professional staff, accomplishes competent, efficient and timely performance of assignments within the structure of the Pharmacy Department.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Graduation from high school or equivalent experience is required. Current pharmacy technician licensure from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is required. College or commercial school courses in marketing, sales, business or other related areas is preferred. Two or more years inside or outside sales experience is preferred. Two or more years of experience as a registered pharmacy technician (RPhT) is required. Technician liaisons must meet career ladder requirements, as per designated work location. Exhibit professionalism to work in a confidential medical environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as work independently.
