Job summary

The University Health Ambulatory Pharmacies are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Liaison to consent patients to choose University Health System as their preferred pharmacy at the time of their clinic appointment. The Pharmacy Liaison will meet daily metrics by consenting patients and increasing patient adherence ensuring patients receive prescription medications following their appointment.

• High school diploma required.
• Two or more years of inside or outside sales experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work in a confidential medical environment.

• Consent patients to choose University Health System as their preferred pharmacy.
• Meet daily metrics by consenting patients and improving medication adherence.
• Educate patients about the Pharmacy Program and facilitate on-site access to prescriptions.

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

The University Health Ambulatory Pharmacies are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Liaison to consent patients, to choose University Health System as their preferred pharmacy, at the time of their clinic appointment. The Pharmacy Liaison will meet daily metrics by consenting patients and increasing patient adherence ensuring patients receive prescription medications following their appointment. The individual will work with University Health Clinic and Pharmacy staff to provide an optimal patient experience. Candidate must be flexible, self-motivated, have previous inside sales and healthcare experience. Excellent customer service skills are required to educate patients about the Pharmacy Program, facilitating access to prescription medication onsite, at the University Health System Clinics. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Graduation from high school or equivalent experience is required. College or commercial school courses in marketing, sales, business or other related areas is preferred. Two or more years inside or outside sales experience preferred. Exhibit professionalism to work in a confidential medical environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as work independently
