Job summary

University Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Liaison to collaborate with pharmacy staff and providers, promoting the health system's programs and services to improve patient experiences.

The role supports pharmacists in daily duties and requires licensure, with bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred. This full-time position involves rotating shifts within the Pharmacy Department and a strong emphasis on teamwork and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent is required.
• Current Texas State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• College or commercial school courses in marketing, sales, business preferred.
• Two or more years inside or outside sales experience preferred.
• Two or more years of experience as a registered pharmacy technician (RPhT) is required.
• Career ladder requirements per designated work location.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as independently.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to promote University Health’s pharmacy programs and services to provide an optimal patient experience.
• Perform duties required in pharmacy operations and assist pharmacists in their duties.
• Under supervision, ensure competent, efficient and timely completion of assignments within the Pharmacy Department.
