Job summary

University Health System Clinics seek a Pharmacy Liaison to educate patients and facilitate on-site access to prescription medications after clinic visits. You will engage patients, meet daily targets, and work closely with clinic and pharmacy staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Ideal candidates have inside sales and healthcare exposure, strong customer service, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent is required.
• Two or more years inside or outside sales experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as work independently.
• Previous inside sales and healthcare experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Consent patients to choose University Health System as their preferred pharmacy at clinic appointments.
• Meet daily metrics by consenting patients and increasing patient adherence to receive prescriptions.

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

The University Health Ambulatory Pharmacies are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Liaison to consent patients, to choose University Health System as their preferred pharmacy, at the time of their clinic appointment. The Pharmacy Liaison will meet daily metrics by consenting patients and increasing patient adherence ensuring patients receive prescription medications following their appointment. The individual will work with University Health Clinic and Pharmacy staff to provide an optimal patient experience. Candidate must be flexible, self-motivated, have previous inside sales and healthcare experience. Excellent customer service skills are required to educate patients about the Pharmacy Program, facilitating access to prescription medication onsite, at the University Health System Clinics. Training Provided

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Graduation from high school or equivalent experience is required. College or commercial school courses in marketing, sales, business or other related areas is preferred. Two or more years inside or outside sales experience preferred. Exhibit professionalism to work in a confidential medical environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as work independently
