Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician in Massachusetts for an outpatient clinic setting. You will act as the primary contact for patients, coordinate refills and drug delivery, and help with insurance navigation while ensuring adherence.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of pharmacy technician experience, is registered in the state, and prefers CPhT certification. Strong Excel/Word skills and excellent communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Licensed/pharmacy technician registered with the state of employment.
• CPhT certification preferred but not required.
• 2–5 years of experience required; 5–8 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for a specialty pharmacy patient.
• Assess patient needs and provide refill support; coordinate drug delivery.
• Address insurance and copay challenges; monitor med adherence.
• Collaborate with clinical pharmacist, prescriber and clinic staff to resolve issues quickly.
