Job summary

Shields Health Solutions seeks a Pharmacy Liaison - a Specialty Pharmacy Technician to work onsite in a hospital clinic or hospital office building, supporting medication adherence and personalized services. Training occurs onsite with potential to transition to a hybrid schedule; Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM CST.

Texas license and CPhT certification are required. 5+ years of experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a patient-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Texas-registered Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.
• Active Texas license and CPhT certification are required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Strong communication, organization and tech skills; patient-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinic teams to deliver hands-on patient care.
• Process prior authorizations and resolve insurance issues.
• Educate patients on pharmacy services and assist with specialty and retail prescriptions.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to process improvements.

We're hiring a Pharmacy Liaison -a Specialty Pharmacy Technician who will work onsite in a hospital clinic or hospital office building to support patients with medication adherence and personalized pharmacy services. Onsite for training with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule. Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 6:00PM CST Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License AND Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification REQUIRED

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with clinic teams to deliver hands‑on patient care.
• Process prior authorizations, resolve insurance issues, and support financial assistance.
• Educate patients on pharmacy services and assist with specialty and retail prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to process improvements.

What You Need:

• State-registered (Texas) Pharmacy Technician ; CPhT required.
