Shields Health Solutions in Worcester, MA is seeking a Hybrid Specialty Pharmacy Liaison (Pharmacy Technician) to provide high-touch patient support from onboarding through refills, while coordinating deliveries and addressing insurance challenges.

The role requires Pharmacy Technician registration, 2–5 years of experience, and a focus on patient advocacy. A Monday–Friday schedule, PTO, and comprehensive benefits are offered to support a rewarding healthcare career.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician registration in the state of employment.
• 2–5 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPhT Certification is highly valued.
• 5–8 years of Pharmacy Technician experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-touch patient support, managing each patient's journey from onboarding through refills.
• Coordinate timely medication deliveries and manage refill schedules.
• Proactively address insurance, prior authorization, financial assistance, and copay challenges.
• Monitor and promote medication adherence to support positive patient outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with clinical pharmacists, providers, and clinic staff to quickly resolve issues.
• Serve as a trusted patient advocate and resource for individuals navigating complex specialty therapies.

Your Impact

As a Specialty Pharmacy Liaison, you will serve as a primary point of contact for patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring a seamless and supportive specialty pharmacy experience.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician registration in the state of employment
• 2–5 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• CPhT Certification (highly valued)
• 5–8 years of Pharmacy Technician experience

Compensation & Equal Opportunity Statement

An employee in this position can expect a salary between $50,000 and $60,000 annually, plus bonus opportunities pursuant to the terms of any applicable bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law.
