Shields Health Solutions is hiring a Pharmacy Liaison—a Specialty Pharmacy Technician—to work onsite in a hospital clinic or hospital office building, supporting patients with medication adherence and personalized services.

Onsite for training with potential to transition to a hybrid schedule; hours 8:00AM–6:00PM CST, Monday–Friday. Texas license and national certification required; 5+ years of pharmacy tech experience preferred.

Qualifications

• State-registered Texas Pharmacy Technician; CPhT required.
• 5+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician; High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication, organization, and tech skills.
• Empathy, integrity, and a team‑first mindset.

Responsibilities

Shields Health Solutions is redefining patient care through specialty pharmacy. We’re hiring a Pharmacy Liaison—a Specialty Pharmacy Technician who will work onsite in a hospital clinic or hospital office building to support patients with medication adherence and personalized pharmacy services.
Onsite for training with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule. Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 6:00PM CST

Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License AND Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification REQUIRED

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with clinic teams to deliver hands‑on patient care.
• Process prior authorizations, resolve insurance issues, and support financial assistance.
• Educate patients on pharmacy services and assist with specialty and retail prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to process improvements.
