Job summary

Qualifications

• PharmD or PharmD degree and active pharmacist licensure in the district states.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.
• Experience with prescription dispensing and knowledge of state/federal laws.
• Demonstrated leadership with performance review history (if available).

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and OTC options.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews and accurately dispenses prescribed medications per regulations.
• Oversees pharmacy operations, scheduling, roles, and shift changes.
• Maintains Good Faith Dispensing practices per state/federal laws.
• Collaborates with Store Manager to develop new business opportunities.
• Manages pharmacy IT systems, workflow, billing, and inventory.
• Ensures insurance claims are processed to minimize rejections.
• Addresses provider questions and optimizes patient medication plans.
• Supports training and development of pharmacy staff.
