Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, and insurance billing.
• Experience with prescription dispensing and state/federal controlled substance laws.
• Internal candidates: leadership rating 3.0+ and no disciplinary actions in last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications accurately and legally.
• Ensures operations comply with regulations and company policies; oversee staffing and shift changes.
• Maintains Good Faith Dispensing in accordance with laws for controlled substances.
• Collaborates with Store Manager to identify new business opportunities and improve processes.
