Job summary

The role requires current US pharmacist licensure, immunization authority, and a track record of managing pharmacy operations, inventory, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree required.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the United States.
• Certified Immunizer or eligible within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.
• Experience with state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Leadership ability with formal performance management experience.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and OTC alternatives.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensure accurate dispensing and adherence to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
• Open and close the pharmacy, manage scheduling, and oversee staff duties.
• Promote Good Faith Dispensing practices and comply with controlled substance laws.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to define strategies and opportunities for growth.
• Maintain pharmacy systems, inventory control, and patient records while supporting staff.
