Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead the pharmacy team, ensure compliant dispensing, and deliver patient-focused care across clinical services such as immunizations and medication management.

You will drive operational efficiency, supervise staff, and partner with leadership to advance health and wellness initiatives while maintaining regulatory adherence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, and insurance billing.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients to ensure a positive patient experience and answer questions about medications and services.
• Counsel and verify medications, review drug interactions, and ensure regulatory compliance and accurate dispensing.
• Support staff performance and training, oversee workflow, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Perform clinical services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication management.
• Collaborate with store leadership to expand health and wellness services and improve financial performance.
