Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance billing.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate knowledge of state and federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and generic options.
• Performs drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and dispense prescribed medications per regulations and company policies.
• Oversees pharmacy workflow, scheduling, and staff engagement to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensures compliance with Good Faith Dispensing and manages insurance billing and third-party audits.
