Job summary

This role emphasizes patient care and collaborative leadership. The Lead Technician will participate in inventory activities, provide empathetic customer service, and support immunization and other services where permitted

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice; including licensure/certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled in a high school or high school equivalency program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist-on-duty with day-to-day activities and delegated administrative tasks.
• Oversee and participate in inventory activities, including annual inventories and cycle counts.
• Provide compassionate patient service at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone; support immunizations and other services where allowed.
• Coach, guide and mentor pharmacy team; ensure SOPs are followed and performance feedback shared with the Pharmacy Manager.
• Volunteer to travel to other stores in the market to support business needs.
