Job summary

Onco360 Oncology Pharmacy in Houston, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Lead Customer Care Specialist to oversee patient and provider interactions, resolve issues, and guide the customer care team. The role offers a full-time schedule with potential remote work after onsite training. Starting salary is $24/hr with quarterly incentives.

Responsibilities include escalation management, staffing direction, onboarding, and mentoring of team members. Sign-on bonus of $5,000 for hires before 12/31/2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of pharmacy operations experience.
• 2+ years in customer care or related fields.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• State Pharmacy Technician license and national certification (PTCB) required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the customer care escalations email workflow.
• Coordinate with the Customer Care Supervisor to address escalations.
• Assign and complete address exceptions per leadership.
• Report exceptions to leadership.
• Escalate issues to the pharmacy director, sales, or analytics.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve problems and document actions.
• Maintain a target number of patient interactions each month.
• Onboard, train, and mentor new teammates.
• Serve as team lead when supervisor is away.
• Handle projects assigned by supervisor or leadership.
