Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is hiring a Business System Analyst to support and implement multi-service software across ANTHC and affiliated sites. You will work with diverse teams to ensure data capture, integration, and regulatory alignment while coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving, and leadership within a healthcare IT environment, with an on-site Anchorage location and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in informatics, computer programming, software engineering or related field.
• Progressively responsible professional/exempt work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for college education.
• Two (2) years’ experience in application support or related field, with ability to provide solutions for users.
• Five (5) years’ experience in applications support or related field, with enterprise-wide solution delivery.
• Supervisory experience of at least one year.
• If assigned to Pharmacy, current Alaska Pharmacy Technician or Intern license.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, direction, and guidance to assigned staff; mentors and trains team members.
• Provides implementation and support for multi-service software packages automating data capture and retrieval.
• Addresses integration issues with other software and suggests changes based on experience.
• Reviews system setups with service/department for accuracy and completeness; diagnoses problems and implements solutions.
• Provides training on current software applications and promotes data validity and security.
• Coordinates data management for user community and manages vendor relationships.
• Collaborates with programmers and HIT departments in testing and enhancements.
• Monitors regulatory changes impacting applications delivery and shares knowledge with the team.
