Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a full-time Inventory Specialist Pharmacy Tech. Responsibilities include stock ordering, inventory control, and coordinating annual inventories to support patient care.

Requires CPHT and GA Board licensing upon hire; high school diploma required. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year in pharmacy, advanced Excel skills, and strong communication. This role involves lifting up to 30 lbs and pushing carts up to 100 lbs as needed to maintain

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
CPHT certification required upon hire; GA Pharmacy Board registration upon hire.
Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience in high-risk areas preferred.
MS Excel and computer skills required; strong typing ability necessary.
Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Order stock (formulary and non-formulary) and rotate stock.
Maintain appropriate par levels and manage shortages/back-orders.
Coordinate annual pharmacy inventory and audits.
Handle billing paperwork, invoices, and payments.
Assist pharmacy staff and directors as needed to ensure timely delivery of medications.
Supervise drug purchasing program and monitor revenues/expenses.
