Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare, compound, and dispense medications under a pharmacist's supervision. You will perform IV admixtures, replenishments, and various ADC tasks while maintaining safety, accuracy and compliance with USP standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Georgia license as Pharmacy Technician (PHT/CPHT) or Pharmacist Intern upon hire.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience with automated dispensing cabinets and inventory management preferred.
• Must comply with Georgia Board of Pharmacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, compound, dispense medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Perform IV admixture using aseptic technique.
• Restock, label, and verify medications and supplies.
• Generate reports and ensure proper accountability of medications.
• Comply with all Wellstar Health System policies and procedures.
