Job summary

Fort Defiance, AZ-based hospital pharmacy seeks a Pharmacy Inventory Specialist to manage pharmaceutical supply orders, receivings, and inventory control. You will ensure accurate procurement, adherence to DSCSA, and cost-effective stock levels to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of direct work experience in pharmaceutical supply ordering and inventory management.
• High School Diploma or Equivalency (HSE) required; state licensure within one month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Initiates pharmaceutical and supply orders and receives shipments.
• Maintains inventory control with perpetual analysis and PAR levels.
• Coordinates storage, stock dispersal, and prime vendor relationships.
• Analyzes usage and procurement data to optimize cost and efficiency.
• Completes DSCSA requirements and aids in drug recalls as needed.
• Verifies accuracy of orders, pricing, and documentation for inventory management.
