Cencora is hiring a Pharmacy Buyer to optimize medication inventory and purchasing across retail, specialty, and mail-order operations. You will work with pharmacy leaders, staff, and suppliers to ensure product availability and cost control.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of pharmacy purchasing, inventory management, supply chain operations.
• Experience with purchase orders, receiving, audits, reconciliations, and supplier coordination.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory across retail, specialty, and mail-order pharmacy operations and automated systems.
• Collaborate with managers and staff to assess needs, monitor demand, and adjust PAR levels and allocations.
• Manage purchase orders and receipts through management systems, ensuring proper documentation.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, stock rotation, and reverse logistics with logistics providers.
• Analyze purchasing activity, pricing, demand forecasts, and KPIs to optimize inventory and drive savings.
• Prepare reports on inventory status, pricing trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for management review.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics providers to address availability and terms.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
