Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI is seeking a Pharmacy Inventory Specialist to coordinate drug procurement, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure DSCSA and 340B compliance in collaboration with the Pharmacy Purchasing team.

You will monitor backorders, recalls, and supplier communications, generate reports, and support pricing, NDC listings, and inventory controls across hospital pharmacies.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
• Active RI Pharmacy Technician II license and CPhT certification.
• Minimum 2 years progressively more responsible related work experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Knowledge of pharmacy information systems and MS Office applications.
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Coordinates drug procurement operations and inventory management to ensure drug availability and accurate inventory value.
• Oversees charitable pharmacy inventory and coordinates with charitable medication distributor for expanded access.
• Maintains DSCSA compliance and collaborates with the 340B team to review savings opportunities.
• Manages borrow/loan systems and transfers between inpatient and outpatient locations; provides activity reports.
