Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking an Inventory Planner Pharmacy Technician to manage pharmacy inventory under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This full-time role supports continuous patient care with accurate stocking, ordering, and workflow coordination.

Hours are days, with shifts from 8 am to 6 pm and potential variation to meet staffing needs. VA license (Pharmacy Tech) and CPhT are required, with two years of pharmacy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Virginia Pharmacy Tech License required.
• CPhT license (NHA or PTCB) required.
• 2 years of pharmacy experience required.
• Pharmacy inventory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs inventory management for the pharmacy under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist or licensed practitioner.
• Fills and delivers medications under supervision.
• Triages and escalates questions outside the technician's scope of practice as needed.
• Operates pharmacy equipment and uses systems for processing patient and financial information.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $28.33 - $41.08 hourly.
